Commissioner Gregg Goslin has been an effective and passionate representative of the 14th District.
His focus on the county board is to professionalize, modernize and privatize Cook County government,
while providing efficient and compassionate management of county business.
In addition to his efforts to promote efficiency and accountability in local government, Gregg Goslin is a relentless advocate for bringing a fair share of county resources to the 14th District and providing citizens
with quality constituent services.
Before being elected to the county board, Gregg served
in the 89th General Assembly as a member of the Illinois House of Representatives, where he successfully sponsored legislation that strengthened local government, capped real estate taxes and reformed medical insurance coverage.
A recognized leader, Gregg is a member of the National Association of Counties Board of Directors and previously chaired its County Hospital Task Force and served as
chair of the Large Urban County Caucus.
Commissioner Goslin has received numerous community awards in recognition of his service, including a commendation by the Chicago Tribune editorial board who wrote, "Put short, Goslin is among the best public servants on the Cook County Board."
Gregg lives in Glenview with his wife Victoria, a special education teacher. They are the proud parents of three children: Kate, Maggie and Alexander, and grandparent
